Gear we never travel without

What’s in our bag

Everything in our camera bag

Camera

Our very first actual camera. And so far we’re extremely happy with it. Great pictures, good durability, easy grip and a large variety of compatible lenses. Definitely worth the investment over a smartphone camera.

A good all-round starter lens. Great for portraits and landscapes, and also not too heavy.

A budget telephoto lens. We use it to capture far-away sights and wildlife photography when we get the chance.

After a lot of research this is our preferred bag to carry camera gear. It is comfortable and can fit all our lenses and drone equipment. It is rainproof and only accessible via the back for extra security.

Having a couple extra SD cards is always useful. Make sure it has the V30 mark on it, this means the speed of the card is high enough to capture 4K video.

Get a fresh perspective

Drone

A lightweight drone; easy to carry on the go and quick to get up in the air. Perfect for capturing amazing views and getting a new perspective.

We highly recommend getting the remote controller with a built-in screen. We tried the normal controller, but needing to connect it to your phone was a hassle.

Getting an extra battery is a must. In fact, we have 5 in total! This way we always don’t have to worry about power when shooting, and can take more time to explore more interesting angles and get a better shot.

Having this charging hub and the ability to charge multiple batteries at once has been a life saver. You can even use it to recharge on the go by connecting it with a power bank. Everything for that little extra juice and time in the air.

When flying your drone in harsh lighting, an ND filter can prevent overexposure and improve your image quality.

When choosing an SD card for your drone it is important that it has the V30 mark on it. This means that the card is fast enough to store your 4K drone footage.

Never miss anything

Smartphone

Where it all started. Before we got an actual camera I got into photography using the good quality camera on this smartphone. Even today we still use it; the pictures it takes are great, and it is a good backup second camera. Especially since you always have it with you.

A sturdy phone case to protect your cameras. It also doubles as a tripod with the stand on the back.

A flexible tripod for any situation. We use it to mount our smart-phone, photo- and action camera. It has extra grip so you don’t have to worry about it not staying in place.

Never Miss anything

Action camera

To capture photos and videos on the go, or when you want to keep your hands free during an activity. This small action camera clips onto basically anything and is really lightweight.

Planning on taking your action camera in the water? Make sure to bring a dive case to prevent any damage and shoot clear footage.
